Society of St. Vincent de Paul
Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a Catholic lay organization of women and men who join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to the needy and suffering in the tradition of its founder, Blessed Frederic Ozanam, and Patron, St. Vincent de Paul. Vincentians witness God's love by embracing all works of charity and justice. The Society collaborates with other people of good will in relieving need and addressing its causes, making no distinction in those served, because in them they see the face of Christ. The St. Mary/St. Joseph Conference has over 70 active members during the year will assist more than 900 residents of Grimes and Montgomery County.
The St. Mary's Quilt Show has chosen the St. Vincent de Paul Conference at our church to receive the proceeds from their 2019 Show. The donation from the 2019 Show will continue to support the mission of the conference.
